On a last minute whim Cheri and I purchased one way tickets to Hobart, Tasmania. Tasmania has always been on the bucket list but, I had NO IDEA how much I would love Tasmania!
We landed in Tasmania & decided that getting a rental car was going to be the best way for us to see as much of Tasmania as possible! After a few phone calls a rental car was located, a Nissan Micra. The first stop following that was the information centre. There, we purchased a map and planned out the entire week ahead of us! I could blog paragraphs on our time in Tasmania HOWEVER, I will spare you the details and leave you with a quick itinerary/must-do list. It will leave you dreaming/planning a trip to Tassie!

Stay tuned fellow followers - - - Wild, Wacky, WARM-beyond-belief, Western Australia is next!!!!
- FOOD - the food in Tassie is exceptional. They are renowned for their oysters and we can attest that they are SPECTACULAR. Tooooo many amazing restaurants but, tied for first place are... The Apple Shed and Bangor Wine & Oyster Shed
- WINE/CIDER - if you're a wine-o-holic Tasmania is your dream. You can drive 5 minutes down the road and there will be a tiny local winery ready for tastings. It was both a blessing and a curse. Oh, and PAGAN CIDER, SUPERB!!!!
- BRUNY ISLAND - if I had to say there is a must-do/see item in Tasmania, this is it.
Stay tuned fellow followers - - - Wild, Wacky, WARM-beyond-belief, Western Australia is next!!!!
