THE SHORT & SWEET:
A rural girl about to go abroad for the experience of a lifetime.
The LONG & SOUR:
Raised as a small town Alberta girl I always knew there was more out there for me. Therefore, after graduation it was no surprise I would be leaving to further my education. I enrolled at the University of Lethbridge for my undergraduate degree. It was a tough start into the "real world" with what seemed like many crazy turns. But thankfully, one WILD & CRAZY decision would lead to finding out who I am, exactly what I wanted and where I needed to be. Terrifying my parents I took the leap and hopped across the pond for a semester abroad. I flourished not only as a person but also as a student. I fell in love with Australia, the experience, and the education I received. I knew I would be back again I was just unaware of how soon. University graduation quickly crept up and I accepted an opportunity I would soon discover to be the greatest life choice thus far. I made the 15 hour trek from southern Alberta to northern Alberta in an attempt to be a Speech-Language Assistant. With the greatest role models I have learned more than I could imagine about Speech-Language Pathology & I am now, more than ever before, ready to continue learning.
Throughout this blog I plan to share my stories of life, school, and travel. Enjoy and always feel free to leave a note, message, or comment!
